Manitobah Mukluks is a highly successful Indigenous footwear brand headquartered out of Manitoba, Canada. They approached Northern to assist with a Creative lift for their performance creative during their busiest season. I was able to create a number of visually-diverse and eye-catching ad sets, while still remaining on brand.
PuraVida engaged Northern to assist with a Brand Creative lift, new Shopify site, and a Digital Marketing program. I hosted the Creative Workshop and from there, my team and I worked on the mockups for the site, updated look + feel to the existing brand, and developed Ads and a Klaviyo modular template.
At Northern Commerce, we have an Internal Marketing team, and I have gotten to design some social posts / landing page assets when publishing Case Studies, Social Media campaigns, etc.
This one in particular is for one of Northern’s clients; Canada Pooch!
Rexall Pharmacy is one of Northern’s enterprise-level clients and I manage a fully independent team of Designers serving them. We handle all things Email, Website, Performance Creative / Ads, App Banners and Special Projects.
A few examples here of some work done over the past year.
Rexall deploys 3 category-specific emails per week (Beauty, Pharmacy and Flyer) as well as Vendor dual-branded content that we help with.
Northern completed a Reskin of the rexall.ca homepage as seen below, a much more cohesive, responsive experience for the user.
I was able to work on a number of exciting initiatives while working at Pela + Lomi. One of my most treasured experiences though was being on the Artist Team for Case Designs. Pela was aggressive with their Case Launch schedule so it was somewhat a creative sprint to present concepts. One concept that I was assigned was to design a forest / mountain case to be engraved. I was thrilled because I am and avid hiker and I knew I could inject meaning into this case. I kept it very simple with the trees and added in the upwards diagonal lines to insinuate a climb. This launched during the beginning of the pandemic and Mental Health was a definite focal point for a lot of folks. Just like climbing a mountain, the challenge can seem grueling in the moment, but once you reach the top it is all worth it!
long wknd was a rebrand project I completely executed myself, from a Creative standpoint. The previous company name was Habitat Botanicals and they were in need of a more updated brand experience and look/feel. From the name, to the color palette, to the packaging design, to the studio photography; this was my baby for many many months! Very proud of the output here.
Canadian Colleges for a Resilient Recovery approached Northern and Tenzing agencies to create a new brand called QuickTrain. It is a government-funded microcredentials program offering to Canadians in many industries. Together with Tenzing, the name QuickTrain Canada was born, and a visual identity was set by Tenzing.
I took things over to execute a large number of ads for the program launch. (I believe it was over 120 ads total)!
Habitat Botanicals was a sub-brand of Pela and was one that I took care of product photography for. It was a lot of fun to source, plan and shoot in the studio. I also acted as Creative Director for model shoots a number of times.
While I attended RED Academy, I completed 2 Capstone projects - this was one of them. I could choose an existing app that was not very easy to use or helpful OR one that you wish existed, and completely craft the experience. I named it “Uncover Vancouver Island” (UVI) and I completed User Research, selected MVPs, wireframed, prototyped, and did a light UI skin as well.

While I attended RED Academy, I completed 2 Capstone projects - this was one of them. I could choose an existing organization that was in desperate need of a visual identity and site layout. I chose Okanagan Cat Coalition because they operated on a Facebook page(!!) They did not have a logo, or an intuitive way to report a stray cat. Their form to submit a stray cat or apply to adopt a cat was through SurveyMonkey. I worked through a fresh branding exercise, complete with logo, color palette, website layout.
I was the principal creative + designer leading all graphic design projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with internal and external clients to establish vision and execute the project. Varying widely from brochures, tradeshow banners, social media ads, email newsletters, to display ads. Actively designing new logos, user experience flows, visual identity guides & promotional collateral for all products, events.
My years at Best Buy really introduced me to corporate culture, cross-department functionality & creative guidelines. My time there was spent either designing or coordinating various print and digital projects including the weekly flyers, in-store & digital signage + special projects, in English and French. I was awarded Associate of the Month for the Marketing department in 2016.
